Breakfast in student mess

Day 2. Breakfast in students mess – K3:50. Off to work ! Connected to the UNITECH network. Moving into Purari Drive tomorrow. Yacht club for dinner (BBQ). Nice crew but… am I caught between socialising with expats and/or locals ? Can I do both ? Is it a good thing for me to end up with the drinking crew ? Will one conflict with the other ? Time for a game of Solitaire ?

I hang out with both expats and PNGeans. There's no problem with it at all. In fact, hanging out with the locals is really good for both Jason and myself. We've been told that because we actually talk to people and dont ignore them that we've got a lot of respect in the community and that is a BIG THING. It means people wont rob us or hassle us, plus we get invited to traditional ceremonies and things like that.
So my advice would be to hang out with both :)
