They said it rains in Lae at night and… it is. 9:30pm and I have finally moved into my new house : 120/4 Purari Dr. I really like it, feels very safe, fenced + razor wire all the way around. Man does it get hot in this place ! To be experienced to be believed. Have met an australian here called Henri. He is ex Oz police + military, we went down to student mess tonight for dinner, good to hang out together, we refer to each other as Wantok. Power was out for 4 hours today, apparently very common ! Been approached by a few people to help me out with housework and gardening. What will I do ? Thank God for fans…. noisy buggers !
