Every Saturday and Sunday there is always a league or soccer match going on. The locals are great sportsman and love to play league and soccer. The above soccer match is between UNITECH and some outside team. Not sure who won because I left at half time. See the palm trees in the background? And the green? That’s what the sceneary looks like when you live in a place where it rains everyday. Things grow so quick and easy. Simon (my gardener) has recently planted some pineapples and taro root in my garden, pawpaws, beans and tomatoes to follow shortly.
The #1 UNITECH soccer team left late last week for Tahiti to play in the South Pacific Games (I think). They will be gone for 2x weeks and have been training for the past 4x weeks two times per day. They are very good. One of my neighbours plays for PNG and was recently in Sydney playing for PNG against the Australian’s.
