Please meet one of my classes…

Well half of them anyway. Yesterday we had the last lecture for the semester and subject and for some reason half of the students decided not to turn up (definitely a PNG thing). The students in the photo are both 2nd and 3rd year Business degree students. The “B. Bus” in PNG runs for four years and students can choose to major in : Accounting, Management, Economics or Commercial Computing. I have been working with this group since I arrived at UNITECH and it has been interesting to say the least. I have mentioned before that the teaching side of things has been challenging but I have really enjoyed it. It is difficult to get a response from the students at the best of times…. but yesterday I succeeded : they actually stood up to have there photo taken !!! As it was the last lecture we did’nt go over any new material and “we had us” some fun !!! I started the lecture with the Nike Ad : “Life is Short” – for those that were there this is the film clip I showed at John’s 40th (my brother). For those of you that were’nt there : bad luck !!
Shall we dance ???
