Between lectures…
Monday’s is lecturing day for me. A two hour lecture in the morning and then a one hour lecture in the afternoon. The morning’s lecture is on “Project Management” and the afternoon’s lecture is on “Management Information Systems”.
Sir “Robert”…
Believe it or not but I get called “Sir” by many of the students. When walking around campus I get called “Sir” all the time. I keep telling my students not to call me “Sir”, I tell them that as yet I have not been knighted by the Queen !!

Last Monday night a few of us went out for dinner to the Lae International Hotel. Quite a “ritzy” hotel by any standards. Also a nice place to go for dinner with friends…

Back to school….
Classes here at UNITECH resumed Monday this week. I have been busy preparing for 2x subjects that I am presenting. “Project Management” to 3rd year students and “Management Information Systems” to 4th year students. As there was minimal prepared material I have had to “throw” a structure together. This has been a lot of work but has also given me free license to put together teaching material of my choosing.…

A few words before the weekend…
It is 1:00pm Friday afternoon and I haven’t really got much to write. I have been busy getting ready for next semester which incidentally starts next week. The campus is a hive of activity at the moment with students sitting for “repeat” exams, other students going through the registration process and staff busy preparing for the start of classes Monday next week…
