Periodically I attend the Baptist Church at Tent City. Tent City is a settlement / suburb of Lae and is situated about 8 mins drive from UNITECH away from Lae.
Last Sunday I attended the Sunday morning service and took a whole bunch of photos. Peter asked me to take some photos for one of his daughters who is in the middle of preparing a Powerpoint presentation for a church youth conference that she will be attending in Moresby later this year. I took some 65 photos and have posted around 40 of these to my blog.
So, have I turned into a churchie ? No way Jose !! I am not a religious person and certainly have no intention of becoming a Baptist. I attend church more for the social interaction and friendship. I have made this clear to a couple of my Baptist friends and also to the Pastor. I enjoy the company of the men that are members of the Tent City congregation and have become good friends with a few of them.
