Or at least for my colleague Godfrey anyway…
The book “History of Western Philosophy” by Bertrand Russell was recently posted out from Sydney, Australia by my close friend Brett. The above photo was taken yesterday out the front of Business Studies and you can see me formally handing over the package to Godfrey.
Godfrey told me afterwards that he was very emotional during the “handover”. The fact that someone he did’nt know would send him a gift. Also, the last time he had a copy of this book in his possession was all the way back in 1987. At the time Godfrey misplaced the book and has been after a another copy ever since. He has searched the book shops and libraries all over PNG for this book but without any luck.
Interesting to note that Godfrey has not been since the “handover” yesterday afternoon !!!
