We have reached the final teaching week for this 2nd semester on the academic calendar.
I have been lecturing now since mid April 2005 and have started to really enjoy the teaching experience. For many years there has been a lack of fulfilment in my working life and teaching has given me new sense of reward and job satisfaction.
The PNG students are great to work with. They are hard working and committed. Perhaps at times a little difficult to “engage in dialogue”. But as I have told them, life is a process of neverending improvement. These students are the new generation of PNG Business and Industry leaders. There is hope !!
If only one student remembers just one thing that I have taught them, my job here as a volunteer will have been successful.
