Wishlist – Thanks Yolande !!

Thanks to my sister Yolande there are now many happy mums and of course lots of happy kids too.

Last week I received a box of 2nd hand clothes (mainly baby clothes) from my sister Yolande in Sydney. I took the opportunity to head down last Saturday afternoonn to the local markets on campus (Sogheri Markets) and do a give-away. Should have seen the look on the faces of young and old. Most of the people that sell at these markets come from the adjoining settlement known as the Madang Compound. Most people that live in the settlement do not have 2 coins to scratch together so the gift of these clothes from Yolande was very welcomed.

Thanks Yolande – you brought much happiness to these people and by the way I walked away from the markets with : 1x pineapple, 1x pawpaw, some bananas and a cococut.
