Rantings : "Back on a PMV"

1st day back at work
after a 5 week break,
and my 1st PMV ride
into town.

Claustrophobia
disappears temporarily,
my smell hasn't
worked for years,
potholes
galore,
on a bus that will
probably break down.

50T here and 50T
there,
a cheap and nasty
form of travel,
peculiar to
PNG,
I'm in for the
ride!

Back in the office
and another blackout,
damit, damit and
more damit,
frustration followed
by patience,
we live in PNG
afterall.

Back to the PMV
ride,
the safe way to
travel,
from Unigate to town
and back again,
together we
travel,
as
one.
