The great Giveaway continues…

Yesterday afternoon and last night I gave some more things away. Firstly some clothes to a couple of Rondi’s grandchildren :

…you should have seen “Junitor’s” face : the happiest little girl ever. Thanks to some 2nd hand clothes my family gave me during my break downunder.

Imagine “giving away” full-time - perhaps this is what parenting is all about !!

The other item I gave away last night was a torch to Jerry. This torch is no ordinary torch as it shines a whole 500,000 candles worth! I have known Jerry since arriving in Lae last April and we have become good friends. If anyone has read the book : Shantaram - you would have come across one of the characters in the book named “Prabaka”, well Jerry is a PNG version of Prabaka. We have had many evenings at my house, sharing stories, laughing and drinking coffee.

The torch was donated by my cousin Carol and her partner Noel.
