I heard the following story yesterday from a reliable source…
The VC of UNITECH is currently on annual leave in the Milne Bay. Whilst away he called his office and requested a sum of K25,000 for the purpose of purchasing a boat with an outboard motor. He needed this boat so that he could travel to his place of origin, an island.
I envisage the following:
1) Travel to his island.
2) Travel back again.
3) Donate the boat to his “Wantok”.
A very smart use of public funds !!
