1st day of lectures !!
It's great to be standing up in front of a class full of students again. The lecture preparation, setting and marking assignments and of course exams – are by far the boring part of a teaching job. The getting up in front of a class and talking on a subject one is familiar with – is a different story.
The “one man circus” has the ability to perform in many and varied circles. So, whenever an audience appears – there in front of me. The “one man circus” swings right into action.
Any excuse to perform really. Besides, there lies within me a deep need for acknowledgement and a crowd that is entertained is a perfect source for acknowledgement. The more they laugh the more acknowledged I feel !!
The show has only just begun !!
