The weekend…

A quick summary of my weekend:

Friday:
- Eli come over Friday afternoon and we spent the weekend together.

Saturday:
- No power !
- Lazy morning + plenty of interaction with neighbours.
- Picked up by bus at 11:30am and headed out to Lae airport (Nadzab) to pickup Goasa's father.
- Stopped over at one of the Markham Valley markets on the way back from Nadzab to buy some buai and some stuff for dinner.
- Eli cooked a great chicken meal with lots of vegetables and all cooked in coconut milk.
- Sat around home and shared some stories.

Sunday:
- No power and now no water !!
- A sweltering day indeed.
- Lazed around the house until about 3:00pm.
- Headed out to West Taraka with Eli and had a swim in Bumbu river.
- Hung out at Eli's place in West Taraka and gaveaway some clothes and some kids stuff.
- Got home at around 6:30pm and yoopeee!!  Power and water back on.
- Washed and had some dinner. It would have been a perfect melanesian night if only it had rained !
