Wagang-Luhu visit # 3

Easter almost over and back in Lae safely after my third visit to Wagang-Luhu. I left Lae on the Friday morning and was back at UNITECH late Saturday afternoon. Just the one night. As per my previous two trips to the village I was welcomed with open arms and treated like a chief

Professor does the bolt !

One of our Professors (Head of Department) done the bolt earlier this week. The newly appointed academic had only been at UNITECH for a couple of months and left PNG in a hurry some time last Sunday. The first that anyone knew that he had done the runner was email sent to another member of staff all the way from Singapore

Easter weekend

Tomorrow morning (Friday) I will be heading to Wagang-Luhu for a couple for days. This happens to be the place I cut my foot late last year – in fact I scored a free trip to the private hospital in Moresby because of the injury

Eastern Highlands Student Association Fundraising Dance

Last night I got talked into going to a dance by Eli. The dance was organised by the Eastern Highlands Students Association from UNITECH and was held at the “Highway Inn” in Lae
