Just when I said that we were all back at work…
We are off to Loloata Island Resort (just off Port Moresby) for a 4 day workshop!! It's a yearly event that AVI organise for all the PNG volunteers. The workshop has a new format this year as the gathering will now include volunteers from other agencies other than AVI.
I have found the variety of volunteer “types” very broad. Different age groups and backgrounds etc… yet – we all have the volunteering experience in common.
I am certainly looking forward to the gathering and the opportunity to catchup with the others around PNG.
Life is tuff !!
