I had the opportunity this morning to attend and witness a Community Court. Community or village courts are a common occurrence in PNG, it is at these gatherings that many local issues get dealt with rather than at district or provincial level.…
Lae and it’s garbage…
A common sight in Lae town is garbage piling up around public places. Not a pretty sight and I’m sure a breeding ground for many exotic diseases. The pile of garbage I photographed above was taken somewhere in the vicinity of the main bus stop next to the markets…
