Monday morning’s…

Been years now since I got off getting up Monday mornings and
trudging into work. Once upon a time I disliked Friday's as it meant
that there would be no going into work for a couple of days. Might sound
weird but that's how it was back in days when I had nothing much but
work going for me.
Weekends are great. I enjoy the lazying and getting around, the cruising
and the sleep-ins, the lack of rush and hurried-ness and also Eli's
pancakes. Eli makes great pancakes!!

It is now 9:50am and I have my 1st class for the week at 10:10am. An
IS326 lecture (IT Project Management). With lecture notes prepared and
in hand I will shortly wander into the ACL lab and start talking. Once I
start talking I'll be OK – in fact once I start talking there is no
shutting me up! Sorry students.

Headed into West Taraka late yesterday afternoon with Eli and Anthony.
Anthony has organised six boxes of children's books through the local
Lae Rotary club and we will be going into West Taraka again this Friday
to do a formal handover. We headed into West Taraka yesterday to
organise a day and a time for the handover with Eli's Dad whom happens
to be the school chairperson. I have also arranged for the Post Courier
newspaper to come along and snap some photos – I am hoping that they
will then run a story on this kind gesture by Anthony and the local
Rotary club.

It is now 9:57am and I am going to start winding down this post as my
class starts in 10 minutes. Time for a quick “puff” (as dad used to
say) before the start of class. Need to go over my notes quickly too, as
I am not sure what I will be talking about. Ah yes! IT Projects and
Budgets. Money, money, money… no escaping the dollar!

And…
sorry to report but the the two baby pigs have not arrived yet. Perhaps
this week. PNG time they call it.

Catch.
