…I've worked really hard but don't seem to have got far at all. Right
now I'm looking at a pile of marking and just looking at it is certainly
not making it go away. Marking is definitely the bane of teaching.
It is now 4:10pm and I'm heading home – Mr and Mrs Oink are sitting
there, locked up in their little “haus pik” waiting for me to come and
give them some tucker. I've learnt something… if you keep pigs well
fed they don't oink a great deal. They certainly appreciate being
scratched on the back of the head – they just lie there and seem to doze
of to sleep very fast. I think they are starting to recognise my voice
because as I approach them they start to oink, oink.
Oink – oink – oink…
NB:My old mate Ray O. would be very proud !!
