Department of Business Studies (DBS) representative Rugby League team won the grand finals yesterday against the Architecture and Building (ArchBuild) team. Don’t ask me what the final score was but it was certianly an action packed game and both sides played some marvellous rugby.
I managed to capture some shots before game, during the game and then after the game when the triphy presentations took place. Unfortunately, the campus network is currently experiencing “issues” and I have (as yet) not been able to post any photos. When these technical problems are sorted out I will be posting all the photos from yesterday’s action packed game.
(I’m sure glad that I do not work in the IT Department here at UNITECH – the IT guys are forever fighting fires and never seem to get anywhere – a lack of support and funds from the blokes “upstairs” makes their jobs even harder – my heart goes out to them – the poor systems and performance problems experienced here on campus are certainly not due to a poor effort by the IT guys but rather are caused by, what would appear to be, a sheer lack of input, support and guidance by the senior management team. As with most management issues here at UNITECH and the rest of PNG… folks seem to be busy with commitments other than what they are being paid to do.)
Anyway, once the technical problems have been ironed out – photos from yesetrday’s game will be posted and these will end up in the Rugby Final 2006 photo album.
