A street boy named “Sunny”…

I did a short story back in mid December on one of the street boys I met during my stay in  Lae. I have finally managed to post the photos that I took of Sunny and here is a close up of him. Most days “Sunny” can be seen out the front of Foodmart, the local supermarket…

I remember real well the afternoon I took this photo. I was with Eli and we had just been shopping, and I had booked a Bos a Nova taxi back to UNITECH. When we got to the taxi and as we were driving away, I found it so difficult to hold back the tears. There's something about “Sunny” that touches my core…
