Early tomorrow morning we head down to Goroka main markets and will catch a
PMV to Lae. Our good old mate Geoff A. is leaving PNG at the end of this
month and will be going back to NSW. During his two years at UNITECH, Geoff
has assisted the Distance Learning Unit with projects in Instructional
Design. It will be sad to say goodbye to Geoff – he's been a good mate and
we have shared many happy times together. There's a party planned for the
Saturday evening/night and it will be nice to catch-up with a few of the
“old” faces, as well as meet some new ones. Hopefully I won't be too
“bugerap” on the Sunday morning – I've lost track of the number of times I
have uttered: “Never again”.
So folks – more than likely I will not be blogging for the next few days. A
big sorry! But it will probably be a healthy thing for me to be away from
Internet and Laptop for a few days. But then again… who knows? I could
very well end up checking out that Internet Café in Lae I've been meaning to
take for a test run. The Land of the Unexpected!!
Fingers crossed… Kassam Pass will be kind to us yet again!!
