With the recent delivery of donated hardware from ITShare – the Hospital's
IT Team together with help from Karl (ITShare) are busy setting up a network
for the Hospital.
Desktops, Servers and Applications will be built using Open Source Software
(OSS). This could possibly be seen as a bold move, due to a shortage of IT
Staff with OSS skills in PNG. This situation is about to change with the
upcoming implementation at Goroka General Hospital.
