A week in fear!

After my laptop died I have been busy “recovering” my data. The last few days have been frustrating and stressful as it was touch and go.

On top of one of my backups failing I had also sorts of issues trying to get my data back. From Ghost software issues to further hard disk problems but alas… all should be back to normal! (Touch wood!). The whole ordeal has turned out to be an opportunity to move one step closer to totally embracing Open Source and away from Windows. This post is being done from  within Ubuntu (Linux) and in the process of rebuilding an  alternative laptop I have learnt a few more “tricks”.

Anyway- we are currently experiencing a black out so I won't hang around. I know I've said this before but I will make a extra big effort to get back to doing regular posts. Have a whole lot of emails to catchup on to.

Apart from that all is well (except for another “furthy” that has just reared its ugly head - has to do with money going missing in the house. More on this one later.

Hope you are all well.
