PNG inefficiency knows no bounds,
PNG inefficiency has no limits,
frustration galore,
How does someone get something done?
On and on and on it goes…
From processes,
to procedures,
and on to workmanship.
All work needs checking,
and following up…
Unbelievable!
Such a waste.
Following up and following up…
my time is consumed,
more than half,
just to follow-up.
Time and money in PNG
a different ball game,
another set of rules,
trying to emulate our rules.
Systems and processes,
a legacy from colonial masters,
still rife and ingrained.
There are times when I wonder…
Why?
Why do I bother?
Why do I even try?
The “masta” white man,
he will fix it up!
But what happens…
when he departs?
Sustainability…
Is it real?
Or is it a myth?
How to help folks help themselves?
My motto…
“Chip, chip, chip…
…slowly but surely”
Seems to be working.
Steady as she goes!
On course…

tingting bilong yu…
