It’s 3:55pm and I’m writing this post from my desk at work.
Been an average sort of a day despite it being a Monday!
Only one day since Robert@PNG V4.1 was announced (the version that was meant to be the back-off of from the obsession with Wordpress release) and I’ve already added a couple of new features:
- The user (yes that’s you!) now has the facility to login and register.
- An email subscription service is also available.
- A trackback monitoring plugin.
Both ‘1′ and ‘2′ are available at the bottom right hand side of screen - yep… that’s to the right a bit and down the page!
Registering as a user will allow you to login and add comments without them being moderated by your truly. You will also get the option of subscribing via email to each post.
There are different types of users in Wordpress and by default all new users will be setup as a Subscriber type. Perhaps down the track I might think about introducing Editors, allowing other users to submit articles for posting.
Tis now 4:05pm and it’s slowly time for me to pack up and head out of here. I’ve posted some more photos to the online Album and continue to do so at a constant rate - there’s now close to 2000 photos available for viewing. Right now I’m posting photos from the 2006 UNITECH Cultural Show which were given to me by Ronnie (an excellent photographer) - today it was the Manus crew (see below for an example of Manus bilas!)
