Tropfest 2008

Anyone have a spare copy they can send me?

A tradition started a few years ago at UNITECH in Lae by Australian volunteer Jeremy D. It was always a great excuse for a get together of the “crew”, watch Tropfest and have a few ales to round of the social aspect of the evening.

If you are able to help out and donate/send a DVD with Tropfest 2008 - your kind action will be greatly appreciated by many.

On a more technical note… the blog migration effort is slowly getting there. There’s still some cleaning up to do but I am finding (to my delight) that Wordpress has many tools to assist with the move. It’s only within the last 24 hours that I have actually transferred the “schilt.info” Domain Name to a new Domain Registrar. So all in all the move appears to have gone seamlessly - as far as I am aware, no disruption at all (from a user/reader perspective).

Cleanup tasks still to be completed are as follows:

- Create post excerpts.
- Tidy up broken Links.
- Notify friends via email.
- Review Internet subscriptions + update.
- Move “schilt.info” Domain to Bluehost (just about there).
- Add a date icon per post.
- Tag posts.
- Move all photos to new online photo album.
