My sister sent me this newsletter as an email attachment the other day. It’s the current newsletter put together and published for a Junior Rugby League Club in the inner Western Suburbs of Sydney.
I wanted to share this newsletter with you as I believe it is very well presented! When I read stories such as this one – it hits me how long I’ve been away from Australia (organisation and structure).
I wrote a short story a couple of days ago on Women’s Rugby in the Eastern Highlands and PNG in general. I shared about how Papua New Guineans are born rugby players – its in their blood so to speak – all one has to do is go along to a Rugby much to realise what I’m talking about.
Having said that I also need to mention (IMHO) the two things that are lacking in PNG Rugby, if these were present it would put the local lads (and gals) on the world Rugby map and make them serious contenders for a whole gamut of titles – the two things lacking being: player discipline and good management!
Anyway, here’s a screenshot of that newsletter I mentioned and below that is a link where you can download the PDF version of the newsletter if you wish.
