Yesterday I stayed home and had a good old fashioned “sicky”. By 8am in the morning I had already made four very fast trips to the thunderbox – a case of being genuinely crook – so I decided to stay at home and take it easy. The old tummy had a mind of its own and would of kept a team of gastro specialists busy for hours. Never mind – an upset stomach (from time to time) is something that all folks living in the tropics learn to live with

Is more religion the answer for Papua New Guinea?

This is a question that many Papua New Guineans would automatically assume that they know the answer to. Let’s investigate this question a little further. The issues in this country are very complex and finding effective solutions to these problems, in my humble opinion, will never be as simple as just saying this country needs more god or religion. In fact, I would go so far to say that if religion was the answer to PNG’s woes then Papua New Guinea would already have reached a status of Super Power
