Only the good die young!

If the words from Billy Joel’s 1977 song hold any truth then it’s probably fair to say that surely I must be slowly turning into a bad bastard! It is with both joy and trepidation that I now share with you that in a month and a bit I will be turning the big 5-0!

Yep… the big 5-0!!

And to celebrate my coming of age – I will more than likely organise a bit of a gathering during my trip to Sydney in a couple of weeks (Leaving PNG on the 27th of February) for family and friends to come and have a closer look and then confirm the number of extra grey hairs my scalp has accumulated in the past two years.

Stay tuned and more will be revealed.

And whilst I have your ear…

“There’s one thing better than growing old and that is to grow old gracefully”

(If you have ever met my dearest of Mum’s you would know exactly what I’m referring to)

You’re still looking fit for a 50-year-old and have the tech-savvy of a teenage computer geek!

    Any party?

I didn’t have a beer with you last time you were in POM.
