Could someone please assist Mark

My wife is a Papua New Guinean from Madang; I met her when I was over with VSO in the late 90s and had a great time. The plan was for us to return to PNG after a short spell in England, but for various reasons we’ve ended up staying here.

Anyway, my wife has a daughter, who we have been trying to get a passport for, as we’d like her to come and live with us in the UK. We know we will have a fair amount of visa difficulties too, but have a pretty good idea what we’re up against. At present we have made one passport application with a bit of a financial incentive, via a friend of a wantok, but the wantok has now dissappeared and I suspect someone’s pocketed our hard earned kina.

What we’re now thinking of trying is going via a law firm in Moresby – although this will no doubt be expensive we’re hoping it will be more reliable. Therefore I’m wondering if you can give me any pointers on a good law firm in Moresby who would be able to assist with this. I read on the internet that A C Fox and Associates did provide passport and visa acquisition services, but so far haven’t had any reply to my e-mails.

Please let me know what you think.
With thanks and regards

Mark Hatcher

    Hi
I see that this is an old post, so hope that you no longer have this issue and found a solution, and that your wife’s daughter is now over here with you in the UK. Did you succeed in getting a visa or do you still need help with this?
    Kind regards
    Amber
