the phone at home has been fixed after being out of action for almost a fortnight. The money I save on my Telikom bill when the phone’s out is staggering! Will aim to Skype Sunday evenings if you are interested – skype ID: rschilt.
Your story is among many customers of Telicom. Telicom rake millions of kina and yet they services are very poor. I’ve read similiar sentiments shared by customers of Telicom in the papers. Hope Telicom wake up and adjust their services to suit the 21st century.
Thanks for that feedback. To give credit where credit is due – I would like to acknowledge technicians from the Goroka office. Once the call was logged through the 014 number and I rang their office – they were out to our home that same morning and fixed the fault straight-away.
Regards,
R
NB: If we could get fast and cheap internet in PNG (sp. the Highlands) – I would almost (I said almost) be willing to forgive Telikom for their other “faults”. State Enterprises need to stop being State Enterprises if data and voice communications are going to get anywhere in this place.
