the WordPress.com Popular Posts plugin is currently causing some strife – well it’s not the plugin itself – something is up with the stats servers at WordPress.com (http://stats.wordpress.com/csv.php). Have shuffled a few things around the blog to compensate for this. Business as usual.

You can say that again! I had to calm down a dozen clients last week when the WordPress Stats server had a melt down … they all thought they’d lost their traffic for a couple days there. Luckily, I use Analytics as a backup for managing their stats.

I don’t have the overhead of clients but still suffer when there’s a “meltdown” such as this one. Lucky all is back on track and the WP stats servers are back in the swing of things.
