Greetings from Coonabarabran….

I am writing this post from a motel room in Coonabarabran (western NSW). I continue to rush around madly trying to catch up with all. One of the few downsides having many friends is that it makes it very time consuming attemtping to catchup with everyone, especially within 5x weeks.

It has  been sheer joy seeing the people I have managed to catch up with. True friendship seems to trascend time and space. Interesting spending time with people after not seeing them for a while, circumstances might have changed (as they do) but there is something about the person or perhaps it's the dynamic between us, something that is constant. It's like a feeling that no time has passed at all. When not having seen someone for a long while, at first their physical appearance seems changed but then after a little while, even the physical appearance seems unchanged. Anyone ever experience this?

Family are something special. Mine anyway. I love my family very dearly and our get togethers over the past three and a half weeks have been very soul nuturing for me. These are the pople I miss the most in PNG - my family.

I continue to post photos from my xmas 2005 experience downunder and if you like, these can be viewed by clicking on either of the following albums:
