The sixth Papua New Guinea Coffee Festival & Trade Fair has been set for
May 4th - 6th in scenic and idylic Goroka, capital of the Eastern
Highlands of PNG. The PNG Coffee Festival
has truly become a unique event in PNG.  This has been achieved
through successfully partnering agriculture, tourism, business &
government for the common good of promoting  social & economic
life in the region.

The purpose of this event is to:

  • improve
    awareness, affluence
and prosperity of individuals and the business community through promotion and
development of Coffee, Agriculture,  tourism & Trade & Commerce.
  • refocus national and provincial attention
on productive work ethics and business practices
  • moreover, provide a wide range of
practical information for School Students &
    Children

Coffee Festival

One of the participants in the Trade
Fair

This event, which first started in 2001, has since
grown in participation and popularity. Young businessman Norman Carver,
the brainchild of this popular event, has single - handedly sponsored the
event since its interception. Mr Carver started the PNG Coffee & Trade
Fair as a means of promoting and developing the industry. The  event
purposefully targets Children & School students, because the future
progression of Papua New Guinea will become the responsibility of this
young generation of Papua New Guineans.   And by
showcasing  a complete range of different work/career
activities  – we give our children & students  the
opportunity to identify potential career paths, for themselves in a fun
& interesting way.  Individuals are able to better choose
professions at which they can naturally be more motivated, & thereby
become more productive members of the community.

This thereby  provides an opportunity
for the Highland’s and national businesses and organizations to showcase
their products and services.   And we take this opportunity to
invite you to  participate in this three-day event by
either:

1. taking up a Stall /
Exhibit;

2. and or by Sponsoring the
Event.
