Here’s a dedciation to my dearest mum:

To you Mum…

you gave me life,
you fed me when I was hungry,
you held me close to your bossom
you held me when I cried,
and you loved me unconditionally…
for this I thank you Mum.

For the times I was naughty and caused you grief,
and that time I ran away from home and caused you untold worry,
those times when I was rude and cheeky,
for all the pain and sorrow that I have given you,
and you cried…
I am sorry Mum.

As I was growing up,
you wanted the best for me,
both you and Dad worked hard,
to make my dreams come true,
you sacrificed so much,
for the family.

And when Dad passed away,
we were there together
and we cried and we held each other
as our dearest of men passed on,
We grew closer together.

You continue to inspire me Mum,
to live my dreams
and embrace this adventure called life.

On this day Mum I wish we were together,
so I could tell you how much I love you
and how much you matter to me.

But I’m here in PNG Mum,
the Land of the Unexpected,
living my dream and a life of adventure.
