Rantings: “A new story”

Tonight…
First night in the new house,
11:00pm.

The noise of fighting outside,
Prompted me to write,
I have not written for a week.

A new home…
New sounds,
Eerie and strange.

Boxes and plenty of them…
Sitting,
Just waiting.

And then there was The Bed,
Yes - The Bed,
All setup and tuned.

More yelling in the distance,
Other noises,
All jumbled like.

Dogs bark…
Especially at night time,
They bark and they bark and they bark.

Responding,
Reacting,
Not accepting.

Did I tell you that my bed has wheels…
And three mattresses,
A whole 2.3 cubic meters worth.

He said…
Let there be an office
And there was!

Anyone for gardening?
Fruits and vegetables
And maybe even herbs!

Change,
Transition,
Flow.

A new home,
A new location,
A new story!
