The local newspapers write about the poor road worthiness of the PNG buses PMV's). They even go so far as to suggest that all PMV's that fall below acceptable road worthy and safety standards should be taken off the road.
That's a very interesting suggestion because if they took all PMV's off the road that failed to meet basic standards - there would be no transport system in PNG!!!
Sorry I'm exagerating…
I remember travelling in a PMV once fom Goroka to Lae - it had a DVD movie screen and we watched Rambo I and II. The trip back to Lae was most enjoyable!
As for all of the other PMV's…?
